After the initial round has completed, the player can either decide to stay on in an attempt to maximize their earnings, or press the ‘collect’ button to cash out any money that might have been won. Additionally, a few styles of the game give the bettor a chance to double their profits, in which situation another hand is played. There are also variations among specific machines, with some virtual decks including wild cards and other differing elements to enhance playability.
